WIP at the OECD Global Parliamentary Network Meeting

Continuing the good co-operation between WIP and the OECD, WIP invites all female Parliamentarians to join the next meeting of the OECD Global Parliamentary Network, which will take place on Thursday 1 October 2015.

The meeting will be held at the OECD in Paris, and will offer an opportunity for female Parliamentarians to exchange views with their peers and OECD experts on a range of key issues. It will include a conversation with OECD Secretary-General Angel Gurría, and the topics for discussion will likely cover the Road to COP21Finance and Inclusive Growth, and the OECD Employment Outlook. A draft programme is attached. If you have other suggestions for topics you would like to discuss, please get in touch with the OECD team.

The seminar (see the Draft Agenda) is open to Members of Parliament and parliamentary staffers from OECD and partner countries. If you are interested in joining or if you have any queries, please contact Jennifer Bisping [[email protected]; Tel: +33 (0) 1 45 24 93 26] and Silvia Terrón [[email protected]; Tel: +33 (0) 1 45 24 95 72].

Looking further ahead, the 4th OECD Parliamentary Days will take place on 4 and 5 February 2016 (date to be confirmed) in Paris. As always, this will include a meeting of the OECD Global Parliamentary Network, and bilateral meetings with OECD experts. The OECD and WIP will provide you with more information closer to the date.
