The Women in Parliaments Global Forum (WIP) is delighted to announce that Ms Jess Phillips, Member of the Parliament of the United Kingdom, will serve as a WIP Amassador for her country.
Jess Phillips has committed her life to improving the lives of others, especially the most vulnerable, and spent five years working for Women’s Aid supporting and defending women. Since becoming a Member of Parliament in 2015, Jess has continued her fight to support those who need it the most and has been appointed to the Women and Equalities Select Committee, the Backbench Business Committee and as Chair of the Women’s Parliamentary Labour Party.
