The Women Political Leaders Summit 2021, a high-level digital event, will ensure that women political leaders can meet digitally in this pivotal year to accelerate equality, leadership and opportunity worldwide.
“Building Forward: Women Political Leaders Determining the New Normal”
The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing the global community to confront unprecedented challenges and rethink leadership. Women leaders must be at the forefront of rebuilding more equal societies.
The Women Political Leaders Summit 2021 offers the opportunity for women leaders to discuss the Reykjavík Manual, whose compilation started at the Reykjavík Global Forum – Women Leaders 2020, and is continuing through the early months of 2021.
As a clear compilation of proven solutions from women leaders, the Reykjavík Manual will serve as a guide with which to recover better than before, fostering a new normal where leadership by women is no longer the exception. The Manual will consist of chapters on each of the Sustainable Development Goals, and it will feature both practical and long-term solutions.
