The Sustainable Development Goals provide policy makers with a lens through which to translate global needs and ambitions. In turn, Women Political Leaders provides a platform for female politicians in which they can share their ideas on sustainability and best practices in the areas of affordable clean energy, and equality between women and men.
WPL participates in several partnerships and initiatives with world leaders and organisations to work towards achieving all of the UN’s sustainable development goals, well beyond equality between women and men.
WPL provides the right visibility to the determination of women political leaders engaged in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals to put pressure to ensure the voices of female politicians are heard in politics.
