On International Women’s Day (8th March), the Women in Parliaments Global Forum (WIP) would like to share as many experiences as possible from female Parliamentarians through the project “Women in Parliaments, Inspiring change.” We believe that female political leaders are a great example for the next generations. Therefore we are preparing personal postcards to distribute trough social media on that day. Please find some examples from our Advisory Board members and WIP Ambassadors here.
We would love to share your words of inspiration with our network by creating postcards with your statements! We would of course encourage you to use them for your own media networks as well. We invite you to participate by submitting a high resolution photo of yourself during your day-to-day work (landscape format) and completing the sentences below (you can choose one sentence or answer both, in any language):
- I was inspired by… A woman who inspired you and why (250-300 characters with spaces)
- I want to inspire you to… This can be related to your personal achievements that can inspire others – like concrete work done by yourself – or your ideas on how younger generations can make an impact. (250-300 characters with spaces)
