The campaign “Women in Parliaments, Inspiring change“, which we ran for the International Women’s Day, was a great success! More than 100 female Parliamentarians from all continents -50 countries- have shared words of inspiration through our project. On International Women’s Day, WIP shared all the postcards during the online conversation around the theme #inspiringhange, which received world wide attention!
Encourage by such a positive response,we are continuing the campaign and will keep collecting contributions from elected women worldwide in order to display them during the upcoming WIP activities (Study Trip to Iceland, Summer Summit in Rwanda…). Therefore, if you missed the deadline, but would like to have your personal postcard in this project, we invite you to participate by submitting a high resolution photo of yourself during your day-to-day work (landscape format) and completing one of the sentences below:
- I was inspired by… A woman who inspired you and why (250-300 characters with spaces)
- I want to inspire you to… This can be related to your personal achievements that can inspire others – like concrete work done by yourself – or your ideas on how younger generations can make an impact. (250-300 characters with spaces)
