“When a woman works, the whole family benefits: children are better fed, better educated and have a longer life expectancy. Women are the ultimate economic accelerators.”

Monique Villa, CEO of the Thomson Reuters Foundation

The Women in Parliaments Global Forum (WIP) is glad to support the next Trust Women Conference in London.

Trust Women is a fast-growing movement dedicated to putting the rule of law behind women’s rights through concrete action. The annual Trust Women conference, taking place in London on November 18-19, brings together NGOs, global corporations, academics, lawyers, and pioneers in the field of women’s rights to take action and forge tangible commitments to empower women around the world.

Leaders and innovators such as Professor Yunus (WIP Advisory Board Member), Phumzile Mlambo-Ngucka, Cyus Vance, De Baca, Kailash and Nick Grono will be among the speakers. See the full agenda.

Attending the Trust Women conference will give female Parliamentarians the opportunity to participate in special action groups taking place throughout the conference. These smaller sessions will tackle some of the specific issues limiting the potential of women worldwide and highlighted during the plenaries. At the action groups, the audience is encouraged to actively participate in the conversation and to help forge concrete solutions for change.

This is an unique opportunity to join an international forum of extraordinary people with women’s rights at heart. Don’t miss the chance to bring your voice to the conversation.
